- 1 ½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 ½ cups of shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 cups of olive oil
- ½-1 pound of fresh peeled garlic

Instructions
Preheat Your Oven Preheat your oven to 225 degrees.
Prepare the Garlic Confit In an oven-safe dish, begin by adding all your fresh, peeled garlic cloves.
Infuse with Flavor Submerge the garlic cloves in fragrant olive oil, ensuring they’re fully covered.
Enhance Aroma Add a sprig of fresh rosemary to infuse aromatic flavors into the garlic

Slow Roast Place the dish in your preheated oven and roast for 60 minutes.
Cool and Blend After an hour, remove the garlic confit from the oven and allow it to cool down.
Prepare the Compound Butter In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled confit garlic with softened butter, your preferred seasoning, fresh basil, and ½ cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.
Blend Until Smooth Mix the ingredients thoroughly until a rich compound butter forms.

Prepare the Cheesy Bread Spread the compound butter generously on both sides of your French bread slices.
Layer the Cheese Combine shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle the mixture liberally over the buttered bread slices.

Broil to Perfection Place the prepared bread in your oven on the broil setting for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbling.
Final Touch Once the cheese is perfectly melted and golden, remove the bread from the oven.
Rest and Serve Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before slicing, then serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
