Ingredients
- 2 NY Strips
- 8-10 ounces white mushrooms
- 2 green bell peppers
- 1 large red onion
- Garlic & herb butter for basting
- 2-3 tablespoons of steak seasoning
- 8-10 bamboo or metal skewers

Assembling Steak Skewers
Wash all your vegetables
Mushrooms:
- Remove all the stems from the mushrooms, leaving only the mushroom caps.
Bell Peppers:
- Remove the center and seeds from the bell peppers.
- Slice them into 1-inch by 1-inch squares.
Red Onions:
- Remove the outer layer and cut in half
- Slice the red onions into 1-inch by 1-inch squares.
NY Strip Steak:
- Cube the NY strips into 1-inch by 1-inch cubes.

Mix Ingredients:
- Add the chopped red onions, green bell peppers, mushroom caps, and NY strip cubes into a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the ingredients and season with steak seasoning.
- Mix thoroughly, ensuring everything is evenly coated with oil and seasoning.

Assemble the Skewers:
- Thread the ingredients onto the skewers in the following order: green bell pepper, red onion, steak cube, mushroom cap.
- Touch up any spots that need additional seasoning.

Cooking Process
Set up your grill for high heat cooking
Grill the skewers over high heat, rotating every 3 minutes to ensure even cooking

Melt down your garlic and herb butter while the skewers are grilling.
Once the beef reaches an internal temperature of 135°F(57°C) your skewers are done

Coat your steak skewers with the melted garlic and herb butter before serving.

Steak Skewers

Ingredients
- 2 NY Strips
- 8-10 ounces white mushrooms

Instructions
- Remove all the stems from the mushrooms so all your left with is the head of the mushroom
- Remove the center and all the seeds from the bell peppers then slice them into 1 inch by 1 inch squares
- Slice up your red onions into 1 inch by inch squares
- Cube up the ny strips into 1 inch by inch cubes
- Add the chopped red onions, green bell peppers, mushroom caps and ny strip cubes into a large mixing bowl
- Drizzle some olive oil over the top of the ingredients and season with steak seasoning
- Mix thoroughly and season as you go so everything gets evenly coated
- Assemble your skewers, the order i went in was green bell pepper, red onion, steak, mushroom cap
- Touch up any spots you missed with seasoning
- Set up your grill for 2 zone cooking
- Grill your skewers over high heat rotating every 3 minutes
- Melt down your garlic & herb butter
- Once your steak reaches an internal temp of 135 your skewers are done
- Coat your NY Strip skewers with garlic & herb butter
